Your Traditional Food Stories
Welcome to 2015 – Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink! The Year of Food and Drink is an opportunity to spotlight, celebrate and promote Scotland’s natural larder and quality produce, and is a Scottish Government initiative led by EventScotland and VisitScotland.
Each month will have a food and drink related theme, and January’s theme is traditional foods. Whether it’s old Scottish favourites like shortbread, haggis, Arbroath smokies, and cranachan - or traditional foods from other cultures made with fabulous Scottish ingredients, there are many reasons to celebrate traditional food this month. So tell us, how are you celebrating?
Get your traditional food stories submitted by the 15th of February – and we’ll showcase our favourites in the next edition of the Food for Life Scotland Schools Newsletter.
