Time to recognise the best in Scottish food and drink!
The Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards, run in partnership with the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS), have been recognising and rewarding the very best in Scottish food and drink for many years.
There are nineteen categories that celebrate Scottish food and drink across retail, food service and business awards. This year, a Young Talent award category is available to entrants between the ages of 16 and 24 (aged less than 25 years of age on 27th May 2015) who demonstrate the greatest skill in their chosen sector of the food and drink industry, and can represent the industry positively. Entrants can be involved in manufacturing, retailing or any sector directly linked to the food and drink industry.
Know a young person who is passionate about their good food work? If so, you can nominate them here for the Young Talent award, but please note that the deadline for nominations is Friday 30th January. Nominees will be contacted in early February and encouraged to enter. Young people don’t have to be nominated to enter, though - the deadline for applying straight for the award is Friday, 27th February 2015.
