Food for Life Scotland
Our team brings together expertise in many areas to help you, whatever point of the Food for Life journey you are at. Feel free to contact us to find out more about what we do, and how we can help you with sourcing and serving good food, good food learning activities, marketing and communications support...or just to say hello!
Angela Mitchell, Programme Manager
Angela thinks that potatoes and peas are possibly the finest vegetables ever, which is just as well as those - and curly kale - are the only veg that grows successfully on her allotment. Everything else turns into a feast for the snails and pigeons.
Kirsten Leask, Education & Engagement Coordinator
Kirsten has worked with schools for many years. She has a passion for traditional Scottish food and food culture – there’s nothing like a good meal followed by a ceilidh!
Joe Hind, Supply Chain Manager
Joe lives in Edinburgh with his wife and two young girls. He used to own a food shop selling local and organic food in Edinburgh. He loves growing food, cooking and seeking out great food and drink experiences across Scotland.
Sarah Duley, Catering Mark Development Manager
Sarah originally moved to Scotland from south of the border to study Sustainable Development in St Andrews – and hasn’t left yet. Living in central Edinburgh, Sarah enjoys discovering the city’s many foodie and cultural offerings! She’s also often found exploring the beautiful Scottish outdoors by foot, bike, kayak and occasionally horseback.
