Baked Potatoes

by Myra Little

Fed up with throwing potato's out that have shot when you buy from the supermarket after 3 days? Try this: microwave potato or potato's until nearly cooked, pre-heat oven on high, bake potato in oven for 10 minutes until crisp and dry, wrap in cling film very tightly when hot, cool and put in freezer, when needed, retieve a medium to large potato, put in microwave still in cling film and cook for 6-8 minutes for a perfect baked potato.

For safety please be aware that microwave food can be very hot especially in cling film so be carefull when you unwrap. When wrapping potato in cling film before feezing, make the cling film about 2 inches longer at each side and once rolled take each side and twist until potato is in tight in wrap.
